 About "Muskie Matt"
I started fishing and guiding in the Sawyer/Price county area,
the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage, North Fork Flambeau River
and numerous other area lakes. I now include the Vilas/Oneida
county area for the last 15 years and base out of the Eagle River area.
The only difference between a good day of fishing and a great day
of fishing is one cast.
I specialize in teaching the technique of baitcasting and icefishing.
- 39 years muskie fishing experience
- Species - Muskie, Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Panfish, Crappies, Bluegills.
- Special Trips - Ice Fishing, Night Fishing, Corporate
All equipment supplied if needed for open water or ice fishing.
- Lakes Commonly Fished - Vilas, Oneida, Forest, Florence, Iron, Price, and Sawyer counties.

- All fishing equipment supplied if needed
- 18 ft Lowe 180w 140 hp Johnson 4 stroke
- All Garmin equipment
- Minnkota trolling motors
- St. Croix rods

Rates & Services
- $300.00 full day
- $200.00 half day
- $25 per extra person
- Deposits start at $100.00 and are non-refundable. Cancelations can be applied to a future date.
Please bring seasonally appropriate clothing, sunscreen, rain gear, camera, hat and fishing glasses, fishing license,
and a positive mental attitude. We take lunch breaks, usually a burger at a local establishment. We find an hour
break helps to sharpen the senses during an arduous day of casting. I also offer referrals for lodging and taxidermy
services. Large groups are no problem and we love to take kids fishing.

This is a FREE activity! General public invited,

world, I have all the equipment you'll need for an enjoyable day on the
water. The lodging.... $50 a night (+ tax) puts you in the nicest "chain"
hotel in Eagle River. The heated pool and spa are hard to beat after a
day of fishing! Everything the area has to offer is right at your door:
dining, taverns, rentals, etc. Room availability subject to area events,

alternative for fishermen/women who are looking for that quick
weekend getaway!!

#4 Wind Drift Resort
Located on the north shore of Lac Vieux Desert in
northern Vilas County, bordering with Michigan. If ever there was a "fish
factory" this lake is it. Every year big fish are taken here, muskie,
walleye, perch, and crappie. It's one of our favorite area waters
